Another Four Day Weekend

I’ve decided to take tomorrow (New Year’s Eve) off so we have another 4-day weekend! I’m looking forward to more chillin’ at home with the family… Emma has been struggling with an ear infection over the last week or so but we did get some prescription medication last evening, so hopefully that will clear up sooner rather than later.

It’s weird to be spitting out a longer post… twitter has conditioned me to be concise to the point of not actually giving enough information to let anyone know what the heck I’m babbling about. I’m looking forward to spending some time here talking about some geek topics that are certainly close to my heart… ones that require more than 140 characters to actually do justice to. Should be fun.

Topics of special interest to me are what we’re going to see out of tablet computers in 2010, cloud computing, and whether or not Google will actually take over the world or not.

The kids are great, but insane… so I would anticipate more stories being posted about poop, puke or some bad fall that results in many baby tears being shed.
