July 4th Weekend

Even though I’m Canadian, I actually spent July 1st (Canada Day) in the United States. GASP! Yes, I know… I’m a terrible Canadian.

We were in the United States celebrating the 4th of July (early, since the 4th landed on a Tuesday) with Alicia’s family. There was a large get together on Saturday which included a large contingent from Pittsburgh. We had Aunts, Uncles and Cousins attend from the city of bridges, along with Alicia’s brother Peter and his family who drove in from the mid-west. There was tons of food, which wasn’t really surprising given how much Alicia’s family loves food (cooking it and eating it).

We had a lot of fun catching up and playing around the pool with the kids. As you can imagine, we took a lot of pictures. They are available in our image gallery. Enjoy.
