I Am Still Alive. No, Really.

Since I haven’t posted in two months, I thought I’d take a moment to whip together some sort of a tangible update for you all. Let me see… I’ve been really busy at work of late. I’m doing IT Security now with the government and I’ve been kept quite busy due to certain virus and worm outbreaks in our environment. December was pretty much a wash at work as a result.

Christmas was good. This year Alicia and I decided not to travel east to spend the Holiday with my parents. We decided to stay in Pennsylvania with her family. It turned out quite nicely for us. There was plenty of wonderful food and gifts. Alicia’s mother really spoiled both of us. :grinning:

The New Year has come and gone. Now we’re into 2005. It’s hard to believe isn’t it? It just seems like yesterday that we endured Y2K and the turn of the century… now we’re 5 years in? Amazing. Time flies when you’re having fun, I guess.

In other news, I officially hate teenagers. Last evening, Alicia and I went to the local theater to watch “White Noise”, the new scary movie with Michael Keaton. We ended up having to leave half-way through the movie because about 50% of the crowd was comprised of annoying 13-15 year old teenagers who wouldn’t shut up. Alicia and I weren’t the only ones to storm out either. Literally every adult present walked out of the theater. The managers were forced to give everyone coupons for a free movie and popcorn as a result. Kids these days; no respect whatsoever. I think it’s a sad commentary for the state of parenting today. I hope Alicia and I are able to do it right.

That’s all for now. I think I’ll post again in a day or two about our Wedding plans. June 15th isn’t that far away now!
