Fun With Friends!

What a fun-filled weekend. Friday, I was able to take the afternoon off from work as Erle was driving down from Ottawa for the weekend. Jamie (aka Bugs) was kind enough to swing down from Hamilton and pick up and entertain Erle while I drove down to Pennsylvania to pick up Alicia.
After I grabbed Alicia, we booted back to Hamilton to spend an hour or so with Shannon and Jamie and then we carted poor Erle back to St. Catharines for the night.
On Saturday Erle, Alicia and I had a big breakfast at Perkins and then met up with Jamie and Shannon and headed to the Pen Centre Mall here in St. Catharines. The girls saw shops and basically took off in a dead run to get their shop on. I literally had to chase Alicia down just so we could arrange a time to meet up again. Girls…
While the girls shopped, the guys walked around and looked at expensive televisions, cellular phones and other “guy stuff”. We then proceeded to sit our butts on a bench and wait for the girls to finish their shopping frenzy. We grabbed a bite at the food court and Jamie and Shannon ran back to Hamilton for a family engagement.
Later in the evening the three stooges (that would be Alicia, Erle and I) ran up to Hamilton and had a big meal at the Outback Steakhouse with Jamie and Shannon. After the meal we chatted for a few minutes in their driveway while suspicious characters walked about in the dark.
On Sunday morning, Alicia made a great breakfast consisting of blueberry pancakes and scrambled eggs. Erle then took off in the early afternoon and thankfully made it back to Ottawa safely.
This morning, I put Alicia on a greyhound bus and she should be arriving home early this afternoon. What a great weekend.
